To kick off the new year, Disney has announced some exciting incentives will be included in the D23 Gold Member registration/renewal gift! The theme “D23 Fantastic Worlds” will give members a unique “adventure kit” that will put emphasis on all of the fantastic worlds Disney created throughout the years, such as Monstropolis and Treasure Island. The gift collection will include a limited-edition D23 Fantastic Worlds map, exclusive travel-inspired pin set, commemorative patch, postcard set, and adventure bandana! D23 Fantastic Worlds Adventure Kit
The Fantastic Worlds Map features more than 250 popular locations, vehicles, and characters that are found in different film and tv shows all across the vast Disney/Pixar Entertainment library!
Members will have a challenging time trying to locate all 23 hidden Mickey’s that are strategically placed all over the map, and should also keep an eye out for a “hidden Oswald” as well. The map was created exclusively for D23 Gold Members by Diseny artist Bryan Mon and is meant to pay homage to the “Fun Maps” that were designed for Disneyland in the past. With a size of 24″x36″, this map will make a perfect collector’s item that every Disney fan will want to own!
Designed by Disney artist Alex Riegert-Waters, the Six Pin Passport set is a wonderful collection of pins from all of your favorite Disney film and tv locations! From the Swiss Family Tree House to the ice planet Hoth, the collection represents locations from Disney’s past as well as some more recent film and television destinations that fans are sure to recognize.
D23 Gold Members will also get post cards and and limited-edition Disneyland 65th anniversary patch that was designed by Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse himself! The patch was created to help celebrate the the 65th anniversary of Walt’s original park, and the design reflects the vintage guide maps given to park guests as they entered the magic kingdom in the early days of Disneyland.
The final item included in the collections is a one-of-a-kind D23 Adventure Bandana featuring the mouse that started it all! Each D23 Gold Member will receive an Adventure Bandana that is ready to accompany you on any expedition that is in your future. If you are a D23 Gold Family Member, you will receive 4 bandanas in total.
The D23 Fantastic Worlds Adventrue Kit will be available starting on January 1, 2020. Guests who sign up prior to January 1st will also receive D23’s current Gold Member gift, 10-FanTastic Milestones Pin Set and a set of collectible pins.
