Inspired by Disney’s live-action movie, “Beauty and the Beast,” a new elegant lounge has opened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, appropriately named: Enchanted Rose.
The lounge features four unique gathering spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast with elegance around every corner. Above the main bar, you can take in the sights of a beautiful chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing golden ball gown (though some already refer to it as the Cheeto chandelier), while the library showcases classical baroque designs and French furnishings. The garden room takes you on a journey to the enchanted forest surrounding the castle, and an outdoor patio is the essence of romance from Beast’s garden terrace (though, it’s really a minimalist patio setting).
Sit back, relax and enjoy charming wines from around the world served by the ounce, glass, or bottle. Champagne, beer, and cider will also be available along with tableside cocktails. But read the menu carefully so you don’t have to auction a kidney (or a kid) to pay the bill.
The menu features a variety of delectable, shareable bites like artisanal cheeses, a house-made flatbread, short rib sliders, and even white sturgeon caviar.
While browsing the menu, you can read about a story of love that inspired the Amour cocktail. The Amour is an elegant vodka cocktail featuring notes of citrus, pear, and flowers with a slightly sweet taste, while characteristics of the apple brandy Envie showcase apples, herbs, and bitters with a potent taste.
Also on the menu are beverages without alcohol for guests of all ages. These mocktails include the Garden Spritzer (with herbal distilled non-alcoholic spirit, lime, agave, and soda), the B&B (with iced tea, lemon, blueberry, and basil), and the Rosemary Cooler (with lemonade, vanilla, and rosemary).
Guests can find the Enchanted Rose lounge on the second floor of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the excellent service. This would absolutely be the right spot to relax before or after an elegant meal.
