Disney is getting an early start on Holiday announcements this year. We have confirmations on what you can expect to find this holiday season. The Happiest Place on Earth will transform with all of the sparkle and joy of the season from November 8 through January 6.
This year’s festivities will be very much like last year, with a return of all your favorites. The popular Festival of Holiday’s will be the centerpiece of Disney California Adventure’s offerings, along with the rousing Viva Navidad show, and World of Color Season of Light.
In Disneyland, holiday decor, snowfall, and the return of both the Small World Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday overlays will delight guests. Unfortunately, there is no mention of the Jingle Cruise (it did NOT return last year either, so we aren’t holding out hope). The classic Christmas Fantasy Parade will also be returning. So you’ll have that song stuck in your head all the way until evening when Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks caps off your jolly day.
It’s worth mentioning that “Frozen 2” will release in theaters on November 22, so we can expect to see plenty of Anna, Elsa, Olaf and their Frozen friends this year.
Love is an open door, y’all. It may be nearly 90° in Anaheim, but Disney wants you to start planning chillier adventures. Are you looking forward to the Holidays?
And don’t think they have forgotten Halloween, there’s a press event next week to preview this year’s newest spooky season offerings, including the expected blockbuster World of Color Villainous. Look forward to sharing that next week!
