Universal Orlando Resort is home to some of the tastiest treats in the theme park world. With 3 different parks, plus an amazing CityWalk, there are a lot of sweet options to choose from. With such a wide range of choices, it can be hard to figure out where to start. We let our tastebuds do the talking and take you on a tour of our favorites 10, plus a bonus collectible treat at the end.

Universal Orlando’s Top 10 Treats

#10  – Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

Straight from the Harry Potter books and films, these risky sweets range from delicious to disgusting. Guess which flavor you’re about to try and make a game out of the treat. Flavors include marshmallow, tutti frutti, ear wax and soap. These potentially dangerous snacks can be found at Honeydukes in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village.

#9 – Voodoo Doughnuts

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

There are over 50 unique donut flavors served daily at this extremely popular spot in CityWalk. Taste the Voodoo Doll, Mango Tango, Bacon Maple Bar (my favorite), Chuckles and many more unparalleled creations. Several of the most popular donuts have an equally delicious vegan counterpart (which is why this place is one of Dusty’s must-dos). There’s usually a short wait to get into the shop, but it’s worth it and a great vibe.

#8 – Chill Ice Cream

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

As a comic-book nerd, I have a soft spot for all things Marvel. And Chill Ice Cream in Marvel Superhero Island, an Iceman-themed snack stop, has a lot of cups, cones and a wide variety of toppings that are perfect for taking a second to cool down after walking around Islands of Adventure. . . which we needed on a very hot day in the park recently. Go for the chocolate dipped waffle cone!

#7 – Tableside S’mores

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort
Dusty did a great job. Didn’t burn the place down or anything

You can enjoy some old-fashioned s’mores from the newest restaurant at CityWalk, Big Fire. This dessert option allows guests to make their own s’mores right from the comfort of their table. The lazy-Susan style roasting dish is filled with goodies, like traditional graham crackers and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, as well as house-made marshmallows that are the perfect end for a long day.

Fun fact: Dusty had never made s’mores before, so when we went here for his birthday, it was a necessity.

#6 – Milkshakes

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

At the CityWalk’s Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen, there’s an expansive array of specialty milkshakes. Cookie Jar, Red Velvet, Confetti and Marshmallow Crisp are just a few of them. Plus, getting to interact with 19th century inspired steampunk characters at the restaurant is a treat in itself. This place gets busy and is a ton of fun. Plan for it.

#5 – Minion Apples

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

You can find these mischievously delicious apples at either the Universal Studios Store at CityWalk or the San Francisco Candy Shop in Universal Studios. Minion caramel Apples are coated with a layer of chocolate disguised as a minion straight from Despicable Me.

#4 – Honk Honkers Gourmet Cotton Candy

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

After watching one being made for another guest, we stopped and got huge handmade cotton candy too. These gourmet snacks are completely customizable. Choose from a paper cone with a unicorn pop as the base. Then select from blue raspberry, pink vanilla, jolly berry, apple, grape and birthday cake flavors. Finally, top this sweet treat with sprinkles, rock candy, animal crackers, chocolate cookies and more. You can make of your own at Suess’s Landing. But beware of the Florida humidity. Eat it fast or bag it . . . they shrink fast on a hot and humid day, but these are a fantastic and eye-catching take on a theme park staple.

#3 – Lard Lad Donut

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

You’ll see a lot of folks carrying these treats around in boxes to take home or back to the hotel. These massive donuts are straight out of the Simpson’s Springfield. In honor of Homer, we call them D’oh-nuts.

The most popular one is The Big Pink, which is the jumbo-sized, classic pink-iced donut. They’re perfect for sharing, taking Instagram photos with, or for satisfying a larger hankering for sugar. But the most important thing is that they are really good. We brought one back to the hotel from the park and carved it up. It lasted us 2 days!

#2 – Waturi Fusion Ice Cream Cone

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

Isn’t this a thing of beauty? Blue raspberry, banana, strawberry and orange flavored soft serve come together to create this rainbow ice cream cone. This is the perfect treat to refresh after a long day of play at Volcano Bay.

#1 – Butterbeer

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

No doubt about it. This is our top treat in all of its varieties. You can try it hot (as a seasonal offering), cold, frozen, fudge, potted cream or even soft serve. This butterscotch-flavored fan favorite has become such a staple for a reason . . . it’s delicious! And, it’s a Wizarding World must. You can find Butterbeer treats all over The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. You can also find this delectable dessert at Universal Studios Hollywood, so you’re never too far away from butterbeer goodness.

Bonus: Chocolate Frogs

, The 10 Top Treats at Universal Orlando Resort

Last but not least, these classic Harry Potter treats are taken directly from the Wizarding World itself. Each frog comes with a collectible card highlighting a famous witch or wizard. As of now, the cards available to collect include Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, Albus Dumbledore, Gilderoy Lockhart, Bertie Bott, Hengist of Woodcroft, Jocunda Sykes, Devlin Whitehorn, Garrick Ollivander and the newest addition, Artemisia Lufkin. You can pick up these adorable (and tasty) little guys at Honeydukes. We get these to bring back home to give as gifts on every trip. They are as much a magical souvenir as they are a treat.
