The new 5,000 parking space garage is set to open months ahead of schedule on June 30th. However, the associated pedestrian bridge linking the structure to Downtown Disney will not be complete until September.
A fully covered tram loading station under the new structure is already in use. Sections of the old tram plaza are now behind refurbishment walls as the area is repaved and landscaped.
In addition to the main entrance to Mickey and Friends on Disneyland Drive, a new entrance will be off of Magic Way.
The new garage will add much needed parking capacity to the resort.
