Disney+ titles have been announced, and we have a comprehensive list of what’s coming soon. Because there is so much content, we’ve divided the news into fiction and non-fiction shows and movies. The Disney+ non-fiction shows are detailed by us (HERE). This article contains the fiction and animation titles we know so far. There are clearly some potential hits on this list and we’d love to hear your thoughts below.
Disney+ will launch on November 12th and will cost $6.99 per month. That’s a price point far lower than many expected and is likely to be a major disruption to other streaming services.
All the Disney+ Fictional Content We Know So Far
Escape to Witch Mountain
Rumored to be in the early stages of development for the streaming service, this would be a TV show based on the 1975 film of the same name and the 2009 remake called Escape to Witch Mountain.
Diary of a Female President
The series follows a young Cuban American girl on her path to becoming the US President, as told from the pages of her diary. Executive Produced by Gina Rodriquez.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
A set of High School kids put on a musical retelling of High School Musical at their High School, with both returning and original songs.
Muppets Live Another day
A revival of the Muppets for the streaming service. This show takes place immediately after the events of the Muppets Take Manhattan, with the team scattered apart. Produced by Josh Gad, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
Secret Society of Second Born Royals
A sci-fi/fantasy adventure where a young girl learns she is second in line to the throne and must attend a special training camp to teachers her to use her superpowers. Produced by Austin Winsberg and Mike Karz.
Book of Enchantments
Based on the villains of the worlds of Disney. This is an adaptation of the popular book series, written by Serena Valentino
Pixar
Monsters at Work
Set after Monsters Inc., this series follows a mechanic that dreams of working on the laugh floor. With returning cast members Billy Crystal and John Goodman.
Sporky Asks A question
After the events of Toy Story 4, Sporky the new toy has many questions about how the world works. With returning the returning voice of Tony Hale.
Marvel
What if?
An animated series exploring alternate versions of well known Marvel events and characters. With returning cast members.
Loki
Tracking Loki’s adventures across time, this series sees the return of Tom Hiddleston as the popular villain.
Hawkeye
A returning Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, trains a new apprentice in the form of Kate Bishop, in a mentor-based story.
WandaVision
The Scarlet Witch and the Vision are back in this team series, which will explore their magnetic relationship. With Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen.
Falcon and Winter Solider
Another team series, with frenemies Bucky and Sam Wilson team up in this action adventure. Starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan.
Star Wars
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
The revival of the hit animated series can be found on Disney+ with all your favorite characters returning, including Anakin, Obi-Wan, Captain Rex and Ahsoka.
The Mandalorian
The first-ever live action Star Wars series, this follows a Mandalorian gunman on the edge of the galaxy, after the fall of the Empire. Created by Jon Favereau.
Cassian Andor
A Rogue One prequel following the spy Cassian Andor and his droid K-2SO. With returning cast Alan Tudyk and Diego Lunar.
In addition to all of this original content, all of the films in the Disney vault will be released as streamable content at any time, plus a tremendous amount of additional content and television shows owned by Disney and its subsidiaries, including FOX. For example, the entire Simpsons catalog will be available from day one of Disney+.
