MiceChat is excited to announce that we will be participating in this year’s CHOC Walk In The Park event on August 11! The walk through Disneyland supports the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and raises awareness and funds for healthcare programs, education and research for kids and families in Southern California.

As a non-profit hospital, CHOC is reliant on donations and community support in order to provide world-class care to infants, children and teens. And the annual Walk In the Park event is the perfect way to combine community outreach with fundraising. Over the last 29 years, the Walk has raised over $35 million with the help of over 14,000 walkers and 450 teams. This year’s goal is to raise $3 million to help provide funding for projects like pediatric cancer research, mental health services, and an expanded neonatal intensive care unit.
In the early morning of August 11, teams from all over Southern California will walk a 5k route through Disneyland and DCA along with teams from all over to raise money for the beloved hospital. MiceChat staff and members will be participating as Team MiceChat.com, and our readers are more than welcome to join us as well.
