Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re checking out Epcot news, including the Festival of the Arts over at #ArtfulEpcot! Let’s go!
Outside the park, you can see some track in launching upward in the Guardians of the Galaxy ride.
Time for the Festival of the Arts!
Figment is center stage.
There’s a Figment scavenger hunt throughout World Showcase.
Lots and lots and lots of Figment merchandise during this festival.
More views of the Guardians buildings.
You can see straight through the old building still.
Wonders of Life is not part of the festival this year.
There is a crane up, and some structure already in place for the space themed restaurant adjacent to Mission Space.
Special food items are available at Taste Track, including rainbow painbrush churros.
The Odyssey hosts events, food, and merchandise for the festival.
Special event printed shirts.
Pop Eats is back!
There is chalk art in between Future World and World Showcase.
This festival’s Passholder magnet features Figment!
Moving statues in Future World.
More and more Figment!
Some work has already started on World Showcase Lagoon to prepare for the new nighttime show, even though Illuminations has yet to end.

There is some special art done by the characters throughout the park as well.

A quick look at the construction of the new signature restaurant in Japan.
The area that normally has the belly dancer in Morocco has an artist doing a live painting and explaining his methods.
You can see the Ratatouille building from within Morocco.

Part of France entirely walled up to make room for the new pathways that will lead to the Ratatouille area.
The arcade is blocked as well.
You can see part of the new area poking over the left hand side of the buildings.
