Welcome back to the Farm. Halloween is tomorrow, and the Scary part of the Farm will get put away for 10 months; Christmas will be here before you know it. Before all the pumpkins get turned into delicious Thanksgiving pies, let’s take a final look at the family-friendly Halloween event, Knott’s Spooky Farm.

Knott’s Spooky Farm:

Coming into the park we first turn to Ghost Town where the Citizens of Calico have been cursed by the Fog but are still going about their daily lives.

At different stations throughout Ghost Town, children under the age of 12 can trick-or-treat with some of the shop owners.

Over in the Bird Cage Theatre, there’s a Family Friendly retelling of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. But we will leave the show to those who wish to discover it themselves and instead take a listen to the pre-show live Organ music.

Out in Calico Square, Linus has set up his pumpkin patch where he waits for the Great Pumpkin to arrive. Children can buy Pumpkin and Cookie Decorating Kits and there are a few art decorations stands for the adults.

Across the way inside the Calico Saloon you can see Mysto, the Slightly Magnificent Magician perform on the Saloon stage.
Over at the Timber Mountain Log Ride, you can experience the Family-Friendly overlay called: Halloween Hootenanny. Creepily-crawlies of the night have all gathered at Timber Mountain to experience the Halloween Hootenanny.

The Camp Snoopy Theater houses some of the best children’s shows and The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown! is no exception.

Across the way at the Camp Snoopy Depot, you can experience Trip to Camp Spooky!

Although the season is just about over, if you do visit Knott’s tomorrow, October 31st, you can still experience Spooky Farm. Same goes for Scary Farm. If you missed either this year, put them on your Halloween list for next year, they’re not to be missed.
Around The Farm:
Let’s take a look at all the changes around Knott’s this last month.
2019 New Attraction Announcement
Last week, Knott’s teased a little hint of their new project for next year.
All eyes point towards Bigfoot Rapids, it’s been closed for Refurbishment for the rest of the year. We are hoping that Bigfoot Rapids receives a massive overhaul with either track enhancements or at the very least a story update to help the ride fit more into the overall theme of Ghost Town.

We hope to will find out very soon.

Christmas Is Coming:
Moving around the park, we can see signs of Christmas already appearing. Knott’s starts their Christmas season slightly later then Disney does, this year, November 16th.

In the trees around Ghost Town, we can see lanterns and LED lights being installed atop the buildings to illuminate the trees and buildings down Main Street that will be used for the hourly snowfall show.

Camp Snoopy:
Over in Camp Snoopy, a few new props popped up over the Halloween Season like these stacks of pumpkins.

Also, note that Christmas lights now adorn every building in Camp Snoopy. Talk about being prepared.

These spiders don’t know what to do with the Christmas Lights.

Although it’s not listed at the front gate, The High Sierra Ferris Wheel has been dismantled for refurbishment. I hope that Knott’s can put in a full-sized Ferris Wheel in Camp Snoopy in the future and not the temporary looking one that’s currently there.

Around the corner from the Sierra Sidewinder is a Scary Farm Instagram wall…looks similar to what the Mouse is doing down the road…

Boardwalk

Over at Beachy Keens Pizza, they added these decals to the signs…and yes, they still sell Dole Whip soft serve.

Over at Hang Time, a new wait time sign has been installed. Very on theme, I love it.

Over along the Carnival games, the Milk Can Toss game has been replaced with this new Bar Hanging Challenge. It costs $5 and the challenge is to hang on this bar for 2 minutes straight for a large prize. You receive a small prize for anything over 30 seconds.

That’s it from Knott’s Berry Farm this month. We’ll be back soon. From all of us here at MiceChat, we hope you have happy and safe Halloween.
