Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! It has been some time since we last visited Hollywood Studios, and things continue to change there at a rapid pace. Let’s take a look!
The Skyliner poles are all in place.
The clouds remind us that there will frequently be times when you might not want to be trapped in those gondolas.
They cut straight through the parking lot from the area over near Art of Animation and Pop Century.
Hollywood Studios Station
Caribbean Beach Resort Station
Epcot Station
This will more than likely be a gigantic, new bus terminal. This walkway to the entrance is only temporary, but quite ugly nonetheless. A few pots with small trees and plants would go a long way toward making this more pleasant.DHS Skyliner Station will evoke the look of the front gate of the park. The backside of the Skyliner Station.
This is the old tram drop off location. It is now walled off and gutted.
Finally into the park!
Really glad that Echo Lake has survived the changes at this park so far.
Nothing has really changed at the view of Galaxy’s Edge down Grand Avenue. (But don’t fret, there are some amazing views ahead)
The massive show building for the First Order Battle attraction behind Muppet Vision. Before the trees got here, there was a lot to see. Now, not so much.
Lots of walls blocking the former Great Movie Ride entrance and exit areas as Disney prepares for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
The old main Great Movie Ride queue entrance.
Also, the extended queue area. The Pixar Studios sign is down, but this area is yet to be retired. By next year, this area will be repurposed to the Incredibles.DVC kiosk up and running outside Toy Story Land.
Use the Force . . .
Here’s the view of Galaxy’s Edge from Toy Story Land. We’re finally starting to see some real details!
This will be the entrance to Toy Story Land from Galaxy’s Edge once completed.
We also rode Slinky Dog for you so we could get some aerial shots of the Star Wars construction.
This land is going to be massive.
Time to head out!
