Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights is upon us once again, and with more haunted houses than ever before. This year’s event offers a wild 1980’s vibe. We’ve got a lot of photos to share and plenty of scares! Beware, there’s evil lurking ahead . . .

There are 10 sinister Houses this year (those of you on the West Coast call them “mazes”).
As in Hollywood, the top houses are: Stranger Things, Halloween 4, Poltergeist, Trick ‘R Treat, and The Horrors of Blumhouse. But there are some unique haunted attractions here as well: Carnival Graveyard, Dead Exposure: Patient Zero, Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After, Seeds of Extinction, and Slaughter Sinema.

One thing is certain, Halloween is popular. Even in the twilight before nightfall, you’ll find throngs of people preparing for scares.

The Harvest Scare Zones pays tribute to this year’s houses.

Other scare zones include: Twisted Tradition, the Revenge of Chucky, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and Vamp ’85.

There’s a new show this year as well. With Bill and Ted now canceled, Academy of Villains takes their place as the opportunity to sit and relax for a bit.

Its mostly a dance show.

Here are lots of shots from the second night of the event of the scare zones. Yes, I went back for a 2nd night! I’m hooked!

BEWARE . . . the 80’s are back . . . and they are even scarier than you remember . . .

Overall, this year’s Horror Nights felt like the strongest in years to me, even after losing Bill and Ted. Will you be heading to Universal Orlando to check it out? Let us know in the comments below. And please let us know which of the mazes you are most looking forward to.
