C3PO Mickey ears!The panel for Galaxy’s Edge featured these folks.‘Meet and greet’ with K2SO from Rogue One.There was a stormtrooper meet and greet near what will be the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge.

Yes, we brought a Porg with us.Droids were rolling around near Launch Bay, eluding Chopper here from Star Wars Rebels.
There were some special food items available for the event.A DJ was set up all night by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which also transformed from Aerosmith to all Star Wars music for the night.Malachor meet and greet with the Seventh Sister from Rebels.Darth Vader steins for sale. Might have bought one…

We headed inside the Indiana Jones theater for the Galaxy’s Edge panel.
Warwick Davis showed up to say hello!
He then handed off the panel to David Collins, a voice actor and sound engineer for Lucasfilm.
Some of the lead Imagineers, including Scott Trowbridge, were then brought on stage to talk about Galaxy’s Edge. Amazing!
Some of the amazing concept art.There will be lots of merchandise opportunities.Inside the Millennium Falcon cockpit.A scene from the First Order battle attraction.They were filming for the attractions side by side with the films at Pinewood Studios in London.
These AT-ATs will be practical, not CGI.These next three photos aren’t concept art. They’re from inside the attraction building.
The scale is just insane.One of the Rebel Transports guests will be able to enter.Check out how small the people in the photo look.Everyone’s favorite Sullustan, Nien Nunb, will have a part in the land.There will be a large creature shop.It’ll feature an AA Lothcat straight from Star Wars Rebels.The name of the village is Black Spire Outpost. Sounds ominous.Overall, there are over 5,000 people currently working on this project around the globe, and is the largest single land that Disney has ever built.Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland Summer 2019, and at Hollywood Studios in Orlando in late Fall 2019.
Chewbacca himself, Joonas Suatamo was at the event! He looks good when he shaves . . .The Tower of Terror had Star Wars projections running all night.

There was also a stormtrooper march.
They chose this kid in the trooper costume to march with them. It was awesome.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Aerial Construction
Our good friends at Nearmap have sent us updated aerial imagery of Star Wars land construction. This is really neat stuff and we are thankful for the view:
