Disney makes hundreds of different holiday treats each year. If you’ve visited Walt Disney World during the holiday season, one of these is bound to be a favorite of yours. Some of the most popular items can be found at a Disney Confectionery location.
Not familiar with a Disney Confectionery? The Confectionery is a merchandise location that also features at least one case filled with treats – cookies, candied apples, fudge, marshmallow treats, crispy treats, cupcakes, chocolate dipped items and more! In fact, there’s quite a few locations at Walt Disney World:
The Candy Cauldron at Downtown Disney
Goofy’s Candy Company at Downtown Disney
The Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom
Storybook Treats at Magic Kingdom
Sweet Spells at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Sea Shore Treats at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort & Villas

Many of these treats will count as Snacks for those using The Disney Dining Plan (DDP). Simply look for the (DDP) notation after any of the prices. Not only do they count as snacks, but they are good choices for snacks to get the most for your money and your stomach.

Holiday Cupcakes are available all over in the Resorts. Here are some of the offerings from The Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios continues to sell through all of their holiday offerings daily. They are currently completely out of the holiday popcorn bucket. However, Starring Rolls Cafe still features their Holiday Mickey Cupcake.
I have found ceramic Mickey holiday cups all across Walt Disney World. (There is supposed to be a Minnie also, but I have yet to find her!) Each time I find one, it is used in a different way. At Everything Pop at Disney’s Pop Century Resort they offer it with ice cream.

Disney has announced that Starbucks will be coming to Walt Disney World in 2013. Even though Magic Kingdom will be the home to the first location, other places have popped up with more coffee offerings. They are also still selling their Souvenir Pinocchio Stein to add to your collection. (Remember, a similar stein is offered for Le Fou’s Brew at Gaston’s Tavern.)

This time of year, you can count on seeing Cinderella Castle all decked out and lit up for Christmas. I simply LOVE seeing Cinderella Castle look like this:

As I conclude my seventh holiday themed Mice Munchies, I want to thank you all for welcoming me into the MiceChat family this year. I’m looking forward to a wonderful 2013. There’s so much more to see, do, drink, and eat at Disney. I can’t wait share with you. Here’s to wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas filled with great food and treats.
