Time for a little safari through Disney’s Animal Kingdom to see what’s new. How’s Rivers of Light coming along? Avatar construction? Let’s find out.

There is tie a bit of land clearing by Avatar that exposes the main show building.

The landscapes are getting very green. — The landscapes are getting very green and you can clearly see the floating rocks.

Disney has started internally hiring positions for this, so hopefully it opens sooner in 2017 rather than later.

There is a security guard positioned at the entrance to Pandora. Looks like they are trying to keep this all a big secret.

Sad that there is still no access to the Tree of Life Garden and paths.

This walkway has been worked on for months now. Curious to see when guests will be able to access it.

This means the Disney Hula Hoop brigade is out. Why they do this when there are actual theme park attractions a few feet away is baffling.

Muppets

This past weekend, the Magic Kingdom debuted a new live show featuring the Muppets, located in Liberty Square. Hosted by the local town crier of Liberty Square and the ever patriotic Sam Eagle, this fun new show takes place several times a day, right outside The Hall of Presidents.

Your favorite Muppets will recount several different tales of the Founding Fathers in their own unique and wacky way. “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” is scheduled to run throughout the Fall season.

Custom Disney iPhone Cases

For all you Disney tech fans with the latest iPhone 7 or 7 Plus models, both Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs and Tomorrowland Light & Power Company in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom have released new artwork for the D- tech on Demand phone case line. For a limited time special Halloween artwork is available, a perfect way to celebrate the Fall season.

Princess Springs

World of Disney at Disney Springs has begun a special one month limited event featuring your favorite Disney Princesses. Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and other visiting Princesses will make surprise appearances throughout the day in a special royal hall inside World of Disney.

Food and Wine

Over at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival everyone will enjoy the “Eat to the Beat” concert series. Performances are scheduled for 530pm, 645pm and 800pm at the America Gardens Theater.

Oct 5^th and 6^th will feature “Blues Traveler”
Oct 7^th thru 9^th showcases “Plain White T’s”
Oct 10^th and 11^th will feature “38 Special”
