Starting August 1st, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will offer “ Disney Early Morning Magic.” Similar to the Magic Kingdom event that debuted earlier this year, guests will be given the opportunity to visit select theme park attractions early, enjoy meet and greets with favorite characters as well as enjoy Breakfast in the park. This event is separate from “Extra Magic Hours” which are held on different days. The number of tickets available each morning is limited, so plan to book early.
This past weekend, several new Fantasyland inspired Tsum Tsum were released. Characters from favorite Fantasyland attractions including “ It’s A Small World” and “The Mad Tea Party” debuted, along with Mickey and Minnie! These fun little collectibles are now available throughout the Walt Disney World resort
Now, on with our photo report from Epcot . . .
Welcome to Epcot!
I love how the park looks when the sun is still rising in the morning.
Definitely pays off to get to the park at rope drop, especially during the hot summer.
Now that the cat is out of the bag officially about Tower of Terror in California getting changed over the Guardians of the Galaxy, the rumors are intensifying about it happening at Epcot as well. There were rumored to be sight line balloon tests over Universe of Energy last week, which is the space some people think will see Star-Lord and his pals. There were also rumors going around at first that the Guardians would make their way into Mission: Space. Is there an attraction you would rather see get changed out of these two? Or would you rather Guardians go somewhere like Disney Hollywood Studios, where it wouldn’t further alter the concept of Epcot?

The Mexico pop-up booth is still here serving light food and margaritas.
Mexico opens at 9am now, which makes for some fun photo opportunities.Sadly, La Cava is not open at 9.
The old margarita stand is still closed and it seems like no work has been done yet.No more makeshift queues in the stroller parking area by where you can meet Anna and Elsa.
The lines seemed to have calmed down a tiny bit for Frozen Ever After.Only 75 minutes instead of 180.
Empty Epcot. These ugly things have to stay up to keep guests away from the stage in non-performance times in Canada.
Seriously, visit Epcot early in the morning. It’s beautiful.
The side of the Canada pavilion is really stunning. Some work being done over by Journey into Imagination.
I wonder if the tip boards will ever come back, or if Disney wants us to just use the app moving forward.
Grimy looking animatronics
The Character Spot side of Innoventions has been missing its signage for weeks now. Will they rename it?Time to head out!
That wraps things up for this week. What are your thoughts on Guardians of the Galaxy potentially moving in? Like what is happening at the park this summer? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
