Bail Organa In Rogue One?
Some exciting news came out this week. After a shot by shot breakdown of the Rogue One sizzle reel that premiered at Celebration London, a familiar looking face was found hiding in the background. Is one of the founders of the Rebellion doing a cameo in Rogue One?
Jimmy Smits played Bail Organa in Episodes II and III. He was the leader of Alderran (that got destroyed in Episode IV) and the adopted Father of Princess Leia. His character was also featured in Rebels and The Force Unleashed video game. I hope this is true.
If you haven’t seen the sizzle reel for Rogue One, you can check it out here:
Hot Wheels X-Wing Car
Did you know Hot Wheels made real cars? They do. And they are full size functional versions of their famous toys. At Star Wars Celebration 2015, they debuted their first car based on Darth Vader. That was so popular they brought the X-Wing car to Celebration this year.
While it doesn’t actually reach light speed, and you can’t actually buy it, it is a real car that goes real fast. The scaled down toy version will be available soon.
Star Wars Land Construction
Work continues at light speed as Republic Construction Forces pound the dirt. In the north end of the area, the big mound continues to be reduced truckload by truckload.

And behind the hill, the backside of Toontown shows how close the activity is to the guest areas.
A little further south in the area, we can see what will be the turn for Rivers Of America, and backstage for Fantasmic, taking shape.

Behind the Hungry Bear Restaurant, we see where the river begins to turn and where the train will travel before making its new scenic turn at the top of the river.

On the west side of the area, closest to the parking structure, we can see materials being staged and work being done on the new backstage access road.
That’s it for this week. May the Force be with you!
