Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re looking at the Holiday Storytellers at Epcot. It’s a magical time of year for Disney World’s 2nd park.
Welcome to Epcot!Epcot’s tree looking nice.
A nice and empty day in World Showcase a week or so before the crazy crowds arrive.
The first storyteller we saw was Pere Noel in France.
Next up was the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs, who played some holiday tunes, and sang most of them in French!
After that was Father Christmas in the UK, who told of the tradition of mistletoe.
We then made our way to Italy to see La Befana, a good witch who spends her days searching for the Baby Jesus and leaving gifts along the way in case he finds them.
Cute Santa Mickey.
In Germany, Helga talks to us about the history of the Advent Calendar as well as the Nutcracker.
Snowman in Norway. Some quick shots of the Frozen meet and greet construction.
No more EO in the Magic Eye Theater. A new attraction called “Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival” will be opening here soon.
That’s it for this week!
That wraps things up for this week! Do you enjoy the storytellers in Epcot? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
