Max, from DLPwelcome, returns to fill us in on Disneyland Paris, which has reopened after a four day closure following the tragic terrorist attacks in Paris.

Hello everyone! Disneyland Paris officially reopened this week after closing for four long days following the events which shook Paris on November 13th.

Disney wants to return to normal as quickly as possible. However, guests have not returned in large numbers as Parisians are justifiably still filled with fear of public spaces such as this.

On reopening day, all activities scheduled, events and attractions were presented to a small number of visitors in attendance (mostly hotel guests).

Following the events in Paris, bag check at DLRP is now done only by scanners, security staff and security dogs have also been increased in number. In addition, each hotel has added 10 security agents, and the TGV train station is monitored by twenty military. Plus, national police are in strong presence! Disney is looking to recruit even more staff in the security sector.

Enough of that talk for now. Let’s turn our attention to happier thoughts, Disneyland.
