A Look at 21 Royal Street
We have a totally glamorous first look at the all-new 21 Royal Street dining room at Disneyland courtesy of an early guest.
But first, what exactly IS 21 Royal Street? Well, 21 Royal Street is an exquisite new dining experience which opened at Disneyland on September 11th. We’ve been sharing photos of work being done on the exterior of 21 Royal Street in New Orleans Square for quite some time. As you’ll see, the interior boasts the singular most exclusive dining experience in any theme park and perhaps one of the top dining experiences of any type anywhere in Southern California. This new venue is a leap above even the venerated Club 33 (with which it shares a kitchen).

21 Royal Street is a sophisticated, yet classic venue, which closely matches the look and feel of both the Dream Suite and Club 33. It feels as if it has been there since the beginning. The artwork is inspired by New Orleans Square and by the attractions which can be seen out of the windows and in the trompe d’oleil murals on the walls.

The experience wouldn’t be complete without some Disney Magic, would it? The magic mirror in the dining room lights the candles. A very special detail in an already stunning space.

Guests were welcome to sit on Disneyland Blue directors’ chairs that said “Dream Suite” on the balcony – the one with Walt and Roy’s initials in the ironwork – to watch Disneyland Forever and Fantasmic!
The experience is a bit like wedding planning. Every party will be different, tailored to the requests of the guest who books the room. There are lots of options, so we can’t give you an exact price. But, suppose that the cost per guest is $500+ with a 14 guest maximum. The reviews of the food that I’ve heard on Facebook were far beyond expectations, and the wine almost as magnificent as the venue’s assorted decanters:
It’s hard to believe that there’s something so special hidden away high above the swashbuckling pirates in the basement of New Orleans Square. But if you can swing the exceptionally pricey tab (if you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it), you can book a reservation at the most exclusive dining room in town, no membership necessary (though, for the next couple of months, the space appears to be available only to Club 33 members).

R2-D2™ ANA JET Unveiled
In April, the jet design was announced; ANA has had Disney and Pokemon planes in the past (my parents flew on a Pokemon plane a few years back)
Everyone was waiting anxiously to see what the finished product would look like. It’s one thing to see a model, but to see a humongous jet is another thing altogether.

Ihssane Mounir, Senior VP, Boeing, welcomed everyone to the auspicious occasion.

ANA’s Senior Vice President, the Americas, Hideki Kunugi described the planning and teamwork that went into the creation of the Star Wars Jet program.

Then, the moment arrived:

WOW!
The Star Wars theme thundered over the tarmac as the huge blue doors slid open, revealing the Jet and its accompanying Stormtroopers. The crowd exploded into cheers and applause.

Then, as if things couldn’t get any more exciting for Star Wars fans, the real R2-D2 and C3PO made an appearance to give their approval to the newly decorated jet.

Over 10,000 people worldwide watched the unveiling on USTREAM.
Next: The BB-8 plane:
Followed by the third and final design, the Star Wars plane, with R2-D2 on one side and BB-8 on the other;

It’s a Great Day for a Snowball Fight!

Today, Disney Interactive will be launching Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight for PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, marking the first time that a first free-to-play match-3 game is available on these platforms. Frozen Free Fall has been downloaded over 100 million times (it’s like crack, I’m telling you). With 195 FREE levels, multi-player modes, characters like Marshmallow, and now access from just about every machine except your toaster, Frozen Free Fall is addictive, maddening, easy, difficult fun. I do love this game.

Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight is available for digital download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Steam.
