Hello and welcome to a Monday edition of In The Parks at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. It’s a mellow time at the resort as the Diamond Celebration at Disneyland continues and the summer months begin to wane. Signs of Halloween and spooky pumpkins are beginning to line the Main Street with autumnal goodness. Haunted Mansion Holiday will open this week on the 11th. Ghost Galaxy is on the way too! So much fun on the way. Innoventions continues to be transformed as we wait to see what will happen next. We also share a few shots of Paint the Night parade for you too. Over in Disney California Adventure we check up on the odd walls that have shown up in Paradise Pier, the progress at Luigi’s and, of course, the Halloween Merchandise in the Five and Dime.
Disneyland 60th and Halloween Time
It’s going to be a battle between diamonds and pumpkins this fall season. As Disney’s Halloween Time is installed it will be an interesting thing to see just how much of the 60th decor is retained and how Halloween will work around it. Tickets are on sale now for the wildly successful Mickey’s Halloween Party events at Disneyland

Haunted Mansion Holiday
Here we see that Haunted Mansion Holiday is well on its way to being complete. With the scheduled opening this coming Friday, September 11th, we are eager to see the fun new changes. The Hatbox Ghost will remain while Jack “wrecks the halls.”

Ghost Galaxy
Also this week Space Mountain will close in preparation for the truly wonderful Ghost Galaxy.

Innoventions
The Innoventons building has received a very simple white paint job downstairs. Here we see the structure at night.

Paint the Night
Just for fun, I thought I’d grab a few shots for you of this wonderfully entertaining new nighttime parade.

Mickey’s Halloween Party
Mickey’s Halloween Party tickets are now on sale.

Hopping over to Disney California Adventure we see that there is still not too much Halloween here either. However, the Five and Dime on Buena Vista Street has had Halloween Merchandise for weeks now.

Paradise Pier
Over on Paradise Pier we see that the mystery walls are still up.

Luigi’s
Over at Luigi’s, vehicles are on site and testing. The fancy, trackless programming does take some time, but it is sure to be a lot of fun.

Pics from the Park
We leave you today with a few leftover shots from the parks.

There you have it! Disneyland Halloween Time is on its way this week. We will reach critical pumpkin mass soon. Are you ready for the spooky season?
Andy and Dateline Disneyland will be back with you next week. Until then, we’ll see you again soon . . . In The Parks!
