Welcome to Universal Studios Hollywood! We have a great update in store for you today from the entertainment capital of Los Angeles. We begin with pics of the developing entry plaza at the front of the park. Next we see that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter continues to grow by leaps and bounds as the arch of Hogsmeade gets its sign and the Hogwarts Express train prop arrives. Next we get to look at all of the wonderful progress on the new entry plaza shops. We stroll through the rest of the park and enjoy the sights including French Street, Springfield USA, the Lower Lot and the Studio Tour. Of course we also deliver the latest news on Halloween Horror Nights from HorrorBuzz to finish things up. Let’s jump right in.

The Entry Plaza
The framework is all in and the construction is moving fast to bring new shopping and retail to the front of the park. Rumor is that a huge Starbucks will be going in here among other things.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
As the Wizarding World moves toward completion, it is becoming far more forested and, as a result, less photographable. Never fear, however, we did our darnedest to bring you pics of the progress.

Crowds
The crowds are still heading into Universal by the thousands, responding to the new offerings and extended hours. We can’t wait for Harry Potter to open and soak up some of these visitors. If you do visit the park in the next few days, be sure to plan ahead. It will be hot, bring sunscreen. Plan on catching a movie and lunch in Citywalk mid-day. Look at the show schedules and pace things so that you have time to rest up and get out of the sun. Above all, DRINK WATER.

Pics from the Park
We wander through the park and take a photo journey. Of course Springfield U.S.A. looks wonderful and brand new. But the Studio Tour, now celebrating 50 years, is looking better than ever.

Parking Structure
We end this update with pics of the parking structure. If everything goes well this should be opening soon.

Halloween Horror Nights.
