Hello, and welcome to a Friday edition of Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re taking a journey to the Magic Kingdom.
Up first this week, selfie sticks are banned at Disney Parks. Are you disappointed that you can’t use your selfie stick or are you thrilled that these devices are now verboten?Welcome to the Magic Kingdom!Scrims are down near the Barber Shop.Scrims are also down at Uptown Jewelers finally!
Some details of the fresh and new looking facades and windows.
The sign isn’t back yet.Over at the Hub, some interesting and large trees have been planted where the Rose Garden used to be.
You can also see here that two of the new Castle Turrets have been unveiled.
Shiny!
Hub construction continues on the Adventureland side.Tiana and Naveen are being evicted from their meet and greet gazebo and moved to Heritage House in Liberty Square due to construction.Another view. Some real strides are being made at the yet to be announced Adventureland restaurant.
Pirates is still closed and will be until the fall.
Refurb work by Pecos Bill’s.
New FP+ signage outside Big Thunder Mountain is well themed.
One of my favorite Disney rides.
Liberty Tree Tavern is closed for refurbishment.
Casey Jr. isn’t busy in the morning, but once it gets hot, this area gets jammed.
Nice light on the sign here.
Main Street USA hasn’t looked this good in years.
