This week, we’re looking at what’s been going on at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Let’s go!
Welcome to the Studios!Oscar’s truck is currently missing.Quite the view.
The walls came down at the Hat demolition, but that only lasted a day before the Star Wars Weekends stage went up.Control booths for SWW.The stars from the Hat survived the changes.New palm trees have been planted. The Chinese Theater has definitely received some love now that it is the icon once again.
Backside of the stage. This view will be pretty glorious once SWW is over.Preview still going for a movie that has been in theaters for a while now.
Echo Lake still stands…for now. Rumor has it that this is an expansion area.
The Cadillac behind Starbucks has returned!
Walls up at the outdoor area at the Brown Derby.
Some work happening over by the Magic of Disney Animation as well.Well, it’s May now, so maybe these should come down.
Who is ready to see Tomorrowland?Universal announced Skull Island: Reign of Kong yesterday and opened up a barrel of monkeys. See what we did there?Walls are up where Disney is adding the third track to Toy Story Midway Mania. The walls advertise the different games on the ride.
I rode the ride using FP+ and the wait only took about 6 minutes.
Cinderella carriage is still here.
Mulch, Sweat, and Shears performing for guests.Forced perspective, it’s something else! One last look at the theater through the stage.Gotta love the Citizens of Hollywood.
There was some special merchandise this week for Star Wars Day.Time to head home!
