New Mugs and Events at Disneyland’s Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar

We’re only two weeks into 2023 and the Tiki Gods have smiled upon the mug collectors of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, the tropical oasis at the heart of the Disneyland Hotel. Two new editions of mugs that have long been sold out have finally been restocked with brand new colors: the HippopotoMai-Tai and the Piranha Pool, both popular with fans of the bar.

The HippopotoMai-Tai arrived on Friday, January 13th in its new orange glaze. This is now the 4th edition of the mug and takes inspiration from the Maui god found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World. The mug is priced at $36 and includes the HippopotoMai-Tai cocktail.

 

On Monday, January 16th, the Piranha Pool mug made its debut at 2 p.m. at the bar, surprising many fans who were there at the opening and had already left for the day. The 2nd edition Piranha Pool mug features an ombre glaze with a black and red combo, which looks great. While this is officially the 2nd edition stated on the bottom of the mug, it is actually the third release of the mug, following the first edition Green (2018) and a special edition Gold (2019). The Piranha Pool is $46 and comes with the signature frozen Vodka blended cocktail that is a bit more suited for the summer than winter.
