Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure is now open and potential recruits can look forward to several stores to score some of the new merchandise. Inside the land, you can stock up on souvenirs at the new WEB Suppliers and Campus Supply Pod. And over in Hollywood Land is The Backlot Premiere Shop (in the Stage 17 building), which has the largest variety of Marvel merchandise in the Disneyland Resort, and the open-air Studio Store (bonus: both of these stores are outside Avengers Campus, so you don’t wave to wait to get in!). Let’s take a look at what guests can expect while shopping!
Meet the Designers
Our own Dusty Sage got to speak with the Disney Merchandise team about the new products. Here’s what inspired them… you might be surprised:
WEB Suppliers in Avengers Campus
The tiny WEB Suppliers shop inside the new land just doesn’t hold much product, or many guests at a given time. But it is highly detailed inside and out.
Inside, there’s a small amount of space, much of it dedicated to the Spider-Man themed ride across the way.
Spider-Man Light Goggles – These goggles might not be the only light-up accessory in Avengers Campus (you’ll also spot a Light Badge available for purchase) but they are certainly the most advanced. This flashy headgear communicates 17 different “expressions” via the lights embedded in the lens.
Here’s a look at the store packed with guests:
However, the shop is detailed and worth a visit if you can swing it.
One of the Golden Rules for visiting a Disney Resort shop is “Look up for details” and there are several Easter eggs to spot right above your head (and even one at eye-level).
And if you rode WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, you might find your score displayed this board behind the register if yours was “Best This Hour” or “Best This Day.”
There is also a Spider-Bot test area to the left of the entrance. A Cast Member sanitizes the controllers after every guest. More information on these little guys is in the Stage 17 section below.
Campus Supply Pod in Avengers Campus
The Campus Supply Pod, the other shopping option for Avengers Campus, actually just a stand, nestled between WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and the PYM Test Kitchen. It doesn’t have much to offer in terms of theming, with the exception of a “Stark Industries” logo along the bottom rim of the stand.
This location has mostly Avengers Campus logo merchandise as well as the Web-slingers, Repulsors, and Power Braces. We discuss those in more detail in a little bit.
Opening Day Avengers Campus Pin – Grab your wallet or call a friend who’s in Disney California Adventure, an exclusive opening day pin is now available while supplies last:
So, let’s take a look at all the Avenger’s Campus Merchandise from the best spot to see it all in one place…
Avengers Campus Merchandise at Stage 17
Now, let’s dive into the Marvel products old and new that have made their way to Avengers Campus and Stage 17.
Shoppers will queue up on the west side of the Stage 17 building, and you enter from backstage.
Nearly all the merchandise you can find in the land is also in The Backlot Premiere Shop. Lines should be much shorter here than in the land as well. We popped in here with no wait at all, even though WEB Suppliers in Avengers Campus had a 2 hour return time!
Spider-Bot – This is a top new product. The adorable remote-controlled Spider-Bots are available here along with their customizable shells called “Tactical Upgrades.” Attach them to your Spider-Bot and it not only changes the look of the Bot but also its battle behavior. Customization options include Iron Man, The Wasp, Ant-Man, Black Widow, and Black Panther.
You can see little projectors under the shells that project different images for each tactical upgrade.
There are also little “fighting arenas” set up for guests to test the Spider-Bots out.
You can carry around your newly acquired robot friend in the web portion of this backpack.
If the bigger Spider Bot is more than you’re looking for, there is also this “Spider-Bot Basic,” which is substantially cheaper ($24.99 versus $79.99) and is not controlled via remote but is more of an advanced wind-up toy.
Web-Shooters and Repulsors
There is a whole corner dedicated to the Web-Shooters and Repulsors, accessories that can be used on the Avengers Campus attraction, WEB Slingers. You can read more about their effects here:
Disneyland News: Avengers Campus Spider-Man Ride Goes Pay-to-Play
You can’t miss them, Disney has set up a substantial amount of floor space for them.
You can choose between a Web-Shooter or Repulsor but no matter what accessory you desire, you’ll also need to purchase a Power Band, for an additional charge, for them to work.
The Power Band is sold separately.
There are several different customization options for both the Web-Shooter and Repulsor. The Web-Shooter offers Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider (AKA Spider-Gwen) options.
The customization options for the Repulsor are Iron Man and Rescue themes. The little balls are for game play at home. You can position the balls above the repulsor to make them float!
Here you can see the Power Band and Web-Shooter attachment on a mannequin. They’re a bit clunky-looking. We have a feeling you won’t want to wear it around all day.
Apparel
Most of the clothing themed to Web Slingers has an almost cartoony feel to it.
The Avengers Campus logo merchandise is all very sleek-looking.
Other Avengers Campus Items
Here’s one of my favorite items. This toy is modeled after the ride vehicle for Web Slingers. It has wheels on its bottom and pivots at the base, just like the ride.
These Metallic Web-Shooters don’t work with the ride like the other models but they feature lights and sounds and come with a snazzy display stand.
More Avengers Campus logo items. The water bottle seen here lights up with the push of a button.
Speaking of lights, this Glow Badge is Disney’s latest light-up accessory (you can set it to color-changing mode or select a favorite color).
Other Marvel Merchandise
While not expressly themed to Avengers Campus, these items are still recent arrivals.
The Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop is also home to several comic books and higher-end static figures.
And then there are these very high-end maquettes of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange by Sideshow Collectibles.
Interestingly, there is also X-Men stuff stocked. Could this be a sign of their entry into the MCU down the road?
There are even a few LEGO products available, an Iron Man helmet and portrait. Thankfully, these are much cheaper than the other figures seen so far in the section.
Prefer prop replicas? Here is a replica of the Stormbreaker from Avengers: Endgame.
And here we have the most expensive item in the store. Meet the Life-Size Iron Man Mark III, priced at a whopping $7,950!
Switching gears to less expensive and far more kid-friendly items, there are figure sets depicting various Avengers available.
Funko POP! Vinyl Figures – Funko’s POP! figures have made their way to Avengers Campus with some exclusive designs. Known for their chibi-style body proportions and large pupil-less eyes, these figures have tons (and I mean, tons) of fans. Designs created for this new land include Spider-Man tangling with a Spider-Bot and Iron Man in a special pose.
You’ll also find some of these Marvel items in Downtown Disney, please check out our recent Disneyland Merchandise Update for even more items and some non-Marvel things to see:

Those “make a custom something-or-other” machines are inside the shop as well. You can choose between a smartphone case or a large magnet and many of the design options are Marvel-based.
Quarter press machine? Quarter press machine! You’ll find one of these souvenir-making contraptions inside the Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop and the designs are all themed to Avengers Campus. (it’s also a neat photo spot).
Before you head out, you may want to snag a photo with the over-sized pretzel and can of Pingo Doce props (inspired by the Pym Test Kitchen in the land).
A huge number of registers line the exit. So, if you see long lines in the land during your visit, make your way here for a more streamlined experience.
Studio Store Goes Avengers
The Studio Store, located in Disney California Adventure’s Hollywoodland, is also full of Avengers Campus merchandise. So if you are itching to grab a Spider-Bot, Web-Shooter, or Repulsor without waiting for the Premiere Shop (which didn’t have a single person in line when we visited on Saturday), this is the place to go.
