Disney has a little news on the 20th anniversary of Disney California Adventure. A Food and Wine sort of experience is on the way for March. The limited capacity and special ticketed event will run several days a week starting in Mid March. Over 1,000 cast are being called back to work the event.

Here’s a letter that Disneyland Resort President, Ken Potrock, just sent to cast members. They are very careful to use the word “Experience” instead of “Festival”:
Readers of this site won’t be overly surprised by this announcement. We’ve been calling for Disney to follow in Knott’s footsteps and offer expanded food and beverage experiences since July. We’re glad to see them pull together their teams to do it now, and help some cast members get back to work.
This is traditionally festival season at the Disneyland Resort, so the timing is good. It’s also ironic that the last time we saw Disney California Adventure fully operational in 2020, they had just launched their Food and Wine Festival for the year. And now, nearly one year later, they’ll be conducting a partial return with another festival.
