Are you a fan of twinkling holiday lights? Want to end your Orlando theme park visit with something special? The Night of a Million Lights Holiday Spectacular will provide you with an evening of festivities for the whole family. . . all to benefit a very special place.

Night of a Million Lights Holiday Spectacular

Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida is normally only accessible to critically ill children and their families. But for the holiday season, the gates are opening to the public for the first time. The Night of a Million Lights Holiday Spectacular will bring the magic of the holidays to everyone featuring more than three million lights adorning the 84-acre resort.

Give Kids the World Village received support from Disney to provide appropriate training and safety measures. Temperature screenings, social distancing and face masks will be required. Staggering entry times will also help to ensure social distancing.

The Amberville area is a place for fun and games now lit for the holidays.

Walking through the village you will be immersed in the holidays with lighted decorations including a 150-foot lighted tunnel along the Avenue of Angels, a dancing gingerbread arch, elaborately themed family villas, lighted wired sculptures (some standing more than 40 feet), and holiday cheer around every corner.

Give Kids the World is hoping through this event to bring awareness to the local community of the Village as well the children and families they support. During normal operations, they have 205 staff members as well as 1,700 volunteers per week to provide wishes to children in need.

Even not in lights, Towne Hall is a sight to see.

Having had the opportunity to tour the facility with my son Johnny earlier this year, he would have loved to stay and play in these areas. Now he will have the opportunity!
