It will come as no surprise that the expected summer 2021 D23 Expo in Anaheim (which was never formally announced) will be delayed a year. With the incredible uncertainty right now, and to ensure a normal Expo experience for all, the biennial convention of all things Disney will now take place on September 9th through 11th, 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
The move will actually allow for quite the celebration as the focus of the event will be a kickoff for the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company (happening in 2023).
At this time, all we know is to expect the biggest D23 Expo yet. More information will be coming soon and D23 is asking all Disney fans to “Save the Date!”
