Tokyo Disney Resort announced last week that the Fantasyland expansion at Tokyo Disneyland, which features the highly anticipated new E-Ticket Beauty and the Beast attraction, would officially open on September 28, 2020 (after being delayed from its original April 15th opening due to current world events). But the park did a surprise soft opening of the new area today (September 21st)!
The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast uses a trackless ride system (similar to Pooh’s Hunny Hunt, Ratatouille, and Mystic Manor) and takes guests into the world of the classic 1991 Disney animated film in their own dancing teacup, featuring some impressive audio-animatronics and special effects.
