Loungefly’s many accessories have become a fashion staple for many Disney fans. And as luck would have it, a bushel (that is the correct term, right?) of new Loungefly pieces was recently added to shopDisney. Follow along dear readers, we’re going on safari! Please keep your hands, arms, legs, and feet inside your vehicle at all times.
New Mickey Mouse Loungefly Items
The Big Cheese has quite a collection of Loungefly pieces for fans to choose from:
Mickey Mouse Halloween Mini Backpack by Loungefly ($75)
This one is highly sought-after. It was created for the Disney Parks as part of their Halloween Collection but some of them have cropped up on shopDisney. This mini backpack is covered in different spooky snacks (many are Mickey-shaped, hence the title, I suspect), which you can find at Disney Parks at Halloween Time, along with ghosts and other seasonal decor. This piece has already sold out before (this is a restock) so don’t sit on purchasing it if it interests you.
Mickey Mouse Pastel Stripe Mini Backpack ($75)
The color scheme on this mini backpack reminds me of rainbow sherbet. I appreciate that they stuck with the stripe theme so closely that even the top carry handle is patterned.
Mickey Mouse Pastel Wallet ($40)
A more basic wallet design than the majority of those you will see here. This one simply has a pastel striped Mickey face on the front and a simple black back with the Loungefly logo.
Mickey Mouse Pastel Rainbow Crossbody Bag ($65)
This crossbody purse is an interesting take on the whole “pastel” thing. Mickey Mouse manifests himself here as the carry handle.
Minnie Mouse Loungefly
As one might expect, Miss Minnie is still all about those polka dots.
Minnie Mouse Polka Dot Mini Backpack ($75)
I really wanted to like this design and could tell Loungefly was going for something a little out of the ordinary but it is just too abstract for my taste. The black appliqué in the center of the mini backpack is intended to give the impression that this polka print was somehow Minnie’s face. I think it would have been better if they had either added facial features to the appliqué or just removed the appliqué completely and left the polka dot pattern to cover it.
Minnie Mouse Polka Dot Wallet ($40)
Even in wallet form, this design still is not my cup of tea. Maybe a bigger fan of Minnie Mouse will still be able to enjoy it.
Pluto Loungefly
Mickey’s puppy pal now has a few items of his own.
Pluto Mini Backpack ($75)
This mini backpack is definitely my favorite of the Loungefly designs based on Mickey and his pals. From Pluto’s perky ears to his lolloping tongue and even his collar, even detail translated perfectly. And I love the addition of Pluto’s dog house, complete with doggie dish and bone, embroidered on the back.
Pluto Wallet ($40)
While not as precious as the mini backpack, this wallet still captures the puppy’s charm. Also, using Pluto’s dog tag as a zipper pull is pure genius.
shopDisney’s Loungefly Items Based on Goofy
These items are just as goofy as their namesake.
Goofy Mini Backpack ($75)
Gawrsh, who knew Goofy would make such a cute mini backpack? I love the way Loungefly incorporated his face and his outfit into the design.
Goofy Wallet ($40)
The companion wallet is just as full of color and character as the mini backpack. And the zipper pull is his hat!
Daisy Duck Loungefly
Donald Duck may be MIA but Daisy has some fashion pieces to share.
Daisy Duck Mini Backpack ($75)
If you are a fan of Disney’s feathery fashionista, this mini backpack might be right up your alley. That is, if you can get past how odd it looks that her beak is hiding the front pocket.
Daisy Duck Wallet ($40)
It looks as though Daisy’s design works much better as a wallet. It is actually quite cute.
Monster’s Inc. Loungefly
Best buds Mike and Sulley are now featured on a pair of mini backpacks. Which one do you like more?
Sulley Mini Backpack ($75)
This Sulley mini backpack is good way to get more bang for you buck because not only does it include the rather spiffy-looking bag but there is also an attached coin purse included in the deal. The coin purse takes after the human girl, Boo, and she even left her mark on the backside of the backpack with her nickname for Sulley.
Mike Wazowski Mini Backpack ($75)
As awesome as the Sulley mini backpack is, I think I may like the design of this one more. I don’t know if it’s the scream canister design on the front compartment, the Monsters Inc. slogan on the back, or just Mike’s smiling face but it just hits all the right notes.
Stitch Loungefly
Stitch is chilling with Scrump (maybe Lilo is back in school?) on these Loungefly accessories.
Stitch and Scrump Mini Backpack ($70)
Stitch is just peacefully floating by on a pineapple inner tube on the front of this mini backpack. You’ll spot Lilo’s doll, Scrump, on an inner tube of her own on the back of the bag. I love that the zipper pull looks like one of those inner tubes.
Stitch and Scrump Belt Bag ($50)
I can’t be the only person who still calls these things “fanny packs,” right? Well, regardless of what it’s called, this accessory is bursting with color and charm. The belt bag expands on the print we saw on the mini-backpack, adding more Stitch and Scrump goodness. Now, being a huge Lilo and Stitch fan, I am a little biased but I think its positively darling.
Stitch and Scrump Wallet ($40)
Even though this wallet is listed as “Stitch and Scrump,” the lovable alien is not visible on the outside. Instead, Stitch is hiding on the print on the inner part of the wallet. As for the outside, an embroidered patch of Scrump relaxing on an inner tube floats along on side with empty tubes on the other (and odd choice, if you ask me).
Marvel Loungefly
Accessories based on Earth’s mightiest heroes? I can get behind that.
Captain Marvel Metallic Mini Backpack ($70)
Unlike Loungefly’s earlier Captain Marvel mini backpack, which had a sort of weathered look to it, this one is more vibrantly colored and metallic. The dimensional star is seen on the center of the backpack (it is made to look like her outfit after all) as well as on the zipper dangle. Very eye-catching (and shiny!).
Captain Marvel Metallic Wallet ($40)
If you wanted to show your love for Captain Marvel but were looking for something a little more compact, I would suggest giving this wallet a look. It even has the same dimensional star-inspired zipper pull as the mini backpack.
Thor Mini Backpack ($75)
The God of Thunder’s helmet and armor inspired the design for this mini backpack (it is listed as simply a “backpack” but the dimensions are the same as a mini one). The simple design of Thor’s breastplate works well in this form.
Thor Wallet ($40)
This wallet is designed to match the Thor mini backpack but I honestly didn’t find the design as impressive. The most identifiable part of Thor, the winged helmet, is only really seen as the metal medallion on the front.
Loki Mini Backpack ($75)
Like all the previous Marvel Loungefly pieces discussed here, this mini backpack takes inspiration from Loki’s outfit. The God of Mischief’s easily identifiable horned helmet and armor are the focal points. The helmet’s horns stick up quite a bit beyond the body of the backpack, which I would normally be worried about, but Loungefly has featured this design concept many times and they all seem to be sturdy.
Loki Wallet ($40)
This wallet, much like the Thor version, not only has a design similar to that found on the companion mini backpack (sans pointy horns) but it also includes a metal helmet embellishment on the front.
