BREAKING NEWS: Due to world healt concerns and consultations with government officials, Walt Disney World‘s theme and water parks are set to close on March 16th through at least the end of the month. The hotels will remain open until further notice as well Disney Springs.
Domestic Walt Disney World employees who are able to work from home are being asked to do so, including those at the Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Television, ESPN, Direct-to-Consumer, and Parks, Experiences, and Products.
Disneyland Paris will also be closing on the 16th with their hotels remaining open.
Disney Cruise Line to suspend new sailings beginning March 14th!

Additional Disney Closures and Updates
- Walt Disney World cast members WILL be paid during the closure!
- Disney Springs will remain OPEN during the closure.
- Walt Disney World will join ALL of the other Disney parks in closure or limited closure.
- Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will be closed March 13th until at least March 31st. Disneyland’s Resort Hotels will be closed beginning March 16th.
BREAKING NEWS – Disneyland Closing March 14 Due to National Crisis
- All Broadway shows in theaters over 500 seats, including all of Disney’s Broadway shows, will also close.
Universal Orlando Resort to Close
Joining Disney World and other major entertainment enterprises, Universal Orlando Resort will close on Monday the 16th of March through at least the end of the month. CityWalk and the hotels will remain open.
