Halloween at SeaWorld’s Spooktacular and the Nights of the Jack with Lindalee Rose

Join our Junior Reporter Lindalee Rose and her siblings Autumn, Juliet & Chase on a fun visit to two of the most family-friendly Halloween locations in SoCal. They’ll take us on a trip to see Sea World San Diego’s Halloween Spooktacular and the Nights of the Jack jack-o’-lantern patch. Grab your Halloween costume, candy bag, and let’s head out!

SeaWorld San Diego Halloween Spooktacular

SeaWorld San Diego during the park’s Halloween Spooktacular season. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular features a fun sea lion and otter show, costume dance party, toe-tapping Sesame Street-themed parade and safe trick-or-treating for the entire family.

New this year is an all-new Fall Festival at the Waterfront and a new special map kids can use to find animal-themed pumpkins throughout the park. The Fall Festival featured a hay maze, wine, and seasonal beers (for us adults) sweet treats and of course themed decore.

The Sesame Street Halloween Parade is back again this year with favorites like Elmo, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby, and more dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Featuring nine larger-than-life floats and a cast of high-energy dancers, this parade will have your kids and (again don’t forget about us adults) dancing into the Halloween spirit.

Dia de Los Muertos is also back by popular demand with Large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues that welcome guests as they discover ofrendas (offerings) of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have left us.

Even though this year’s Spooktacular season is over, you can still visit SeaWorld San Diego year-round. For more info, visit https://seaworld.com/san-diego/

Nights of the Jack

The Nights of the Jack is an interactive family-friendly Halloween experience. With thousands of hand-carved Jack-o’-lanterns placed over a half-mile long trail on King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. If you’re looking for something approachable for all ages, then this might be the perfect Halloween adventure.

Lindalee Rose (dressed as a convincingly scary Pennywise the Clown), takes us on a quick tour of the experience and what’s there to see!

There’s still some time to enjoy the Nights of the Jack because it runs through November 3rd. For more information and tickets, visit https://nightsofthejack.com/

Thank you to our wonderful Jr. Reporter Lindalee Rose for her coverage. For more of her videos, be sure to follow her on Youtube. Did you see either of these experiences this year? What are your plans for Halloween? Let us know in the comments.
