Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened, we’ve been on the hunt for the most photo-friendly places that are perfect for Instagram. Spots that are especially fitting for posing or showing off your galactic gear!
Two obvious ones are the Millennium Falcon and Kylo Ren’s TIE Echelon, where you can frequently find Photopass Cast Members. However, we also wanted to include some of the more unique spots, ones that highlight the detail of the land and will stand out on social media.
Check out these fun backdrops my friends and I found in Batuu! We’re having a good time . . . join along . . .
Black Spire Outpost Marketplace
Walking in from Critter Country, the “front” entryway of the Black Spire Outpost’s Marketplace has a nice textured wall and some cargo to pose with:
Moving into the Marketplace, one of my favorite areas in the land is the Jewels of Bith stall. Head past the Trading Pins and Millennium Falcon merch to find this nook:
Blue Milk Stand
I’m not a huge fan of the taste of Blue or Green Millk, but it sure does look pretty! This wall across the way from the Milk Stand is a great place to stop, sip and take a pic.
Droid Depot
Moving onto Droid Depot, the #BlueStripeWall is already receiving some attention on Instagram. Here are a few more spots found around the building:
Bonus: If crowds allow, this doorway leading into Droid Depot is the perfect spot to rock your galactic vibes!
Oga’s Cantina
Across the way from Oga’s Cantina entrance, we stumbled upon this well-lit doorway:
Millennium Falcon
If you walk past Docking Bay 7 (after enjoying a snack or two), head down the ramp towards the entrance for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run… and you’ll find a familiar mouse imprinted in blaster fire!
Heading towards the Millennium Falcon, this doorway is found on the right side of the ship, next to the extended queue for Smuggler’s Run:
Of course, the queue for Smuggler’s Run is filled with photo opportunities left and right!
These cargo containers are found at the exit of the attraction. Here, we have a bounty huntress:
Tomorrowland
Just in case you’re unable to visit Batuu right away… this geometric wall found near the entrance of Tomorrowland and Star Tours will fit your Star Wars aesthetic just fine:
And there you have it! We hope we gave you some photo inspiration for your Batuu visit. Need help figuring out your look for your visit? Check out our Style Board! Til the spire…
