In preparation for the May 24th release of the live-action remake of Aladdin, Disney has stocked enough themed merchandise to fill a Cave of Wonders (or at least, several large shopping bags). Join us as we explore the new treasures that have arrived at the Disneyland Resort!
First, let’s get into the mood. Here’s a film clip from Disney’s upcoming live-action Aladdin.
For Princesses, Big and Small
The majority of the stuff (AKA Jasmine-inspired items) is geared towards women. Ladies can actually create a decent Disneybounding outfit from the new Jasmine top and Magic Carpet purse, designed by Danielle Nicole. There is even a matching Ear Headband!
Another option is this Jasmine embroidered jacket, available in both kids and adults sizes. A stylized drawing of Jasmine is hidden on the jacket’s lining.
Alex and Ani also have a bracelet with a charm of Jasmine flying on a magic carpet with the words “Life’s a magic carpet ride.”
There is a nightgown for girls designed after Jasmine’s dress in the film.
And in case you haven’t hit Jasmine overload just yet, she also has a plush and a mug with her face on it.
Jasmine’s loyal tiger pal, Rajah joins the line-up of long-tail plushes available at the Resort. This plush is notable because unlike the other ones in this article, it is exclusive to Disney Parks and not shared with ShopDisney.
Who Are You Calling a “Street Rat?”
Despite being the titular character, Aladdin has the least amount of merchandise to his name. Poor guy! We spotted him as a Funko POP! figure, along with Genie, Jasmine, and Jafar. And even then, he is packaged with his buddy, Abu.
In fact, every time he is featured, Aladdin is in a group. We observe it on the pin on the left …
… as well as this women’s tank. The tank is pretty cool, by the way. It’s awesome when Disney uses the old VHS cover art for movies in merchandise.
Heck, even Abu gets his own kids shirt. And a plush, too. But it would have been shocking if he didn’t.

No Wishing for More Wishes!
Will Smith plays the role of the Genie in the live-action Aladdin and as you might expect, there is a doll in his likeness.
Along with the pin shown earlier in this article, this shirt has art of the Genie in his magical form.
If you prefer your Genie to have a more classic look, there is still plenty of merchandise for you. You’ll find a good-sized plush, a foam cap made to look like Genie’s head (complete with a metal earring on his “ear”), and even a mug with his, well, mug on it.
You want lamps? They have lamps! Three different kinds, in fact. There is a tea set with the Genie’s lamp as the teapot. Another is a fancy collectible, limited to 4000 pieces. There’s even a toy one for the kids that works like a sort of talking Magic 8 Ball.
The other mystical being in the film, the Magic Carpet, can be found as a keychain and a beach towel from the Oh My Disney collection.
